The Great Debate

I read a republican and a democratic response to the debate in the paper the day after. The republicans felt that McCain had won hands down and the democrats felt McCain was an, "idiot." Who is right? As far as I can tell neither. I know McCain didn' t win as there is rarely a victor in a presidential debate that is unless the other guy looks really old and is sweating profusely. I also know that McCain isn't an idiot because he married sugar mama. What I do know is that the only thing I personnaly could connect with was early childhood education which was mentioned once in passing by Obamma.
War is great and all and I know the economy is tanking because it turns out the market can't take care of itself when left to its own devices, but there are other topics to discuss. Granted this debate had some rough guidlines that the owl eyed moderator had to stick to(I think he looks like an owl) but everyone goes off on whatever they want during these things.
To declare a victor is a little premature as neither really looked all that great. The paper also mentioned where they had talked to the repective sides and on that front I can declare a vicor. The republicans met at their headquarters on coburg road. The democrats met at cozmic pizza. The democrats win hands down.
